Find accommodation/rentals/paying guest in remote cities online

This is not an usual case, but one of the rare cases which makes you weak for a moment for being dumb. The tip here is for those students / employees who need to shift their dwelling place for higher education or employer needs(transfers).

1. Assume yourself a person from Southern parts of India and you are being transferred to New Delhi where none of your friends or relatives stay. Its a tough part to find the right accommodation as the new place is totally strange for you. But don't panic - internet is not a new place for you. Let us tip you on how to find the right accommodation in any unknown locality with more ease.
2. Go to maps.google.com and enter the location of your office / college followed by the city name and search. Google shows you the location, now zoom in to find nearby residential areas where you can setup your accommodation.
3. Now, log on to Google.com search engine and enter the keywords <CITY NAME> classifieds. As this example considers and Indian city, the Indian major classifieds services like Sulekha, Click.in, olx etc show up for your search query.
4. Visit those classifieds websites and enter the residential areas you had chosen from Google maps. Now, if you find right accommodations to suit your needs, sign up for those services and you can find contact information of the owner or agent of the real estate property you checked for. Contact them and fix the deal :P
5. If you don't find the right accommodation, these classified websites also provide you a free opportunity to post your own ad that you are looking for such an accommodation with all detailed requirements including your rent prices.

Note that this is just an example of using internet for finding remote accommodations, but you can actually do more than this if you know and can explore including real estate deals for buy/sell.
