If you are a computer user, you are a mouse addict when you are infront of computer. It becomes you responsibility to clean the mouse. Cleaning the mouse can ensure you the best user experience and get the job done faster. Here are the tips to clean a computer mouse.

1. Mouse legs and mouse pad:
I have seen many people who never clean the mouse legs/pad, but dirty mouse base will be uncomfortable for handling while you do many work which require the smooth movement of mouse. If you are designer who use photoshop or equivalent tool, a clean mouse base is a must. Always keep a razor blade to clean and use it gently to clean mouse/ mouse pad.

2. Ball mouse:
These days, almost all computers have optical mouse, but early days users still are with mouse which has a rubber ball to identify motion of mouse and move the pointer accordingly. To clean your mouse, open the housing of rubber ball at the bottom, clean all the dust collected since a long time. Now you see how better your experience will be with a clean mouse.

3. Optical mouse:
This does not require much maintenance just except the base, but if you observe any dust collected in the laser housing, clean it with a neat cloth.

4. Mouse scroll ball for 8 directional scrolling mice:
A very few people use a 8 directional scrolling device. If you observe the scroll ball of mouse, you see two holes on both sides of ball. Use a compass divider or a small scissor to open the door and take the ball out. You will be shocked to see the amount of dust collected there. You can clean it with clean cloth / with the help of vacuum cleaner in "suck" mode.
