What to do when mobile phone drops into water?

This is common question among many users. Though no one does it intentionally, such things can happen accidentally.

If you have dropped your mobile phone, you can save it from damage with few household substances.

1. Remove battery, sim, memory card and other enhancements

2. Hair dryer / Vacuum cleaner

Use hair dryer or vacuum cleaner to blow air lightly to push all the water out of the body to possible extent. Vacuum cleaners may produce more pressure of air, so keep distance while using it on your cell phone.

3. Rice

Take some dry rice in a bowl and keep the already dried mobile phone inside it. As rice is a water absorbent, it can help in removing the remnant of water from your wet mobile phone. This rice is not recommended for usage after your mobile is removed.
